We see Lakeline Church developing thousands of unchurched people into followers of Jesus Christ who Know him, Grow to be like him, and Go tell others about him.
We see Lakeline Church leading believers and seekers to worship God in spirit and truth. Through our worship services, the hurting, depressed, frustrated, skeptical, and confused who have been turned off by the traditional church can come and discover God's presence, love, power, creativity, forgiveness, and acceptance. The worship consists of contemporary music, practical teaching, dramas, multimedia, and other soul-searching forms of art that connect emotionally with the attenders.
We see Lakeline Church becoming a true biblically-functioning community where the membership is a family that is devoted to one another. It will be a place where the members are active participants in the church fulfilling their responsibilities to the church and to one another.
We see authentic relationships forming and thriving through small groups and other ministries. People will be unified and connected to one another in such a way that prayer is offered, care is given, and accountability is provided so that true Christian life-change occurs. We also see counseling services, support groups, and other ministries strengthening marriages and families.
We see Lakeline Church as a university of discipleship as it offers seminars, classes, retreats, mentoring, and accountability to assist people in maturing in their faith.
We see Lakeline Church as a place where people whole-heartedly believe that God is the operator and owner of everything and we are simply managers or stewards of all that he has given us. We see our stewardship compelling us to live balanced lives where we leverage our time, talents, and tithes for the kingdom of God.
We see Lakeline Church with hundreds of practical hands-on ministries to the community involving the care of the whole person: spirit, mind, emotions, and body. We see every member stepping up to God's call of workmanship and becoming ministers who discover, develop, and deploy their gifts on ministry teams to creatively serve others.
We see Lakeline Church doing its part to fulfill the Great Commission of ambassadorship that God has given us of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with multitudes of people in our community, state, country, and world. We see Lakeline Church training every member to communicate the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to unbelievers in a style that fits them, holding seeker-sensitive worship services, performing bridge events to our community, financially supporting missions efforts, starting churches, sending out short-term missionaries, and adopting and taking the Gospel to unreached people groups (UPG)
We see Lakeline Church members growing in their leadership abilities as ministries grow and new ministries are started. We see them influencing those around them inside and outside of the Church to become Know-Grow-Go Followers of Jesus Christ.
We see the day when Lakeline Church has many acres of land on which a regional church for the northwest Austin area (Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Northwest Austin, etc.). The facilities will be both simple and state-of-the-art including a performing arts worship center, interactive children's area, cutting-edge youth center, and rooms for seminars, classes, counseling, training, and ministry resulting in a full-functioning seven-day a week ministry that develops Know-Grow-Go Followers of Jesus Christ.
This vision of our preferred future will find its fulfillment in the hands of those who own the vision.
