Since our church began with one family over a decade ago, God has blessed our church in many ways. We have seen hundreds of people become followers of Jesus Christ – nearly four a month! We have helped people grow in their faith, cared for one another, started many ministries, planted five churches, and sent out a missionary family to an unreached part of the world. Even without a permanent mission base, we have been fulfilling our purpose of helping people KNOW Jesus Christ, GROW to be like him, and GO tell others about him. Since we started Lakeline Church, I have never been as excited and challenged as I am about the opportunity which I believe God has placed before us today. After a decade of portable ministry, the time has come for Lakeline Church to have a permanent home. God has given us land. Now it is time to build! Ecclesiastes 3:1, 3 says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: …a time to build…” (NIV) Time to Build: A New Beginning is our three-year campaign (April 2010-April 2013) to raise the funds to construct a permanent home for our church family and a mission base for our community and world. The countdown has begun to building a facility on our land! Our goal is to be in our building by Easter 2011. Here are our next steps:
